CZECHOSLOVAK 1940S/1950S BLACK FELT HAT BY HÜCKEL. SIZE EU 56,5

DESCRIPTION 

This hat is of Czechoslovak origin and was produced by Hückel, most likely sometime during the 1940s or 1950s. It was imported into and sold new in Sweden by Evert Johansson in Finspång.

In colour, it is black with a matching black hatband. The interior is lined with a light silk fabric bearing the manufacturer’s logo, with the importer’s name printed beneath it. It features a light brown sweatband, which also carries both the manufacturer’s and the importer’s names.

The condition is excellent; however, there are some light scuff marks on the sweatband and minor discolouration to the lining. This is of course not visible when the hat is worn. Please study the photographs carefully and form your own opinion of the condition.

SIZE

The inner circumference of the hat measures 56,5 centimeters. It can be stretched approximately half a size using a hat stretcher. Please scroll down for exact measurements.
