BRITISH 1930S/1940S BLACK HOMBURG FELT HAT BY GLYN & CO. SIZE EU 57

DESCRIPTION 

This hat is of British origin and was produced by Glyn & Co in England. Its shaping is reminiscent of the 1910s and 1920s, although the hat was most likely made somewhat later, around the 1930s to 1940s. It was imported into Sweden and sold new by Jacobssons, a shop located in Valdemarsvik in southern Sweden.

The hat is black in colour, both in the felt and the hatband. The interior is lined with a light silk fabric bearing the manufacturer’s logo. The light-coloured sweatband also features the importer’s logo. In the lining, the original owner has handwritten their initials.

The condition is excellent, with nothing of note to mention. Please study the photographs carefully and form your own opinion of the condition.
