SWEDISH 1930S/1940S SILVER GREY FEDORA HAT BY KARLSKRONA HATTFABRIK. SIZE EU 55

This hat is of Swedish origin and was produced by Karlskrona Hattfabrik sometime during the 1930s or 1940s. At the time, this was Sweden’s most renowned hat factory, located in Karlskrona in southern Sweden.

In colour, it stands out with its silver-grey tone, combined with a light-coloured hatband and a bound edge to the brim. The interior is lined with a light fabric bearing the manufacturer’s logo. The dark grey leather sweatband also features the retailer’s name.

The condition is excellent, virtually perfect, except that the lining has come slightly loose from the inside of the hat, making some glue marks visible. This is, of course, not visible when the hat is worn. There is also a small mark on the brim, although this is barely noticeable. All in all, a very fine hat.
