DESCRIPTION
This odd jacket is of Swedish origin. It appears to be bespoke, although there are no labels present, so its exact origin cannot be determined. It was made sometime during the 1910s or 1920s. The jacket is made from a black cloth with a fairly pronounced twill structure.
The jacket is single-breasted and fastens with two buttons. It has horizontal front pockets with flaps and a breast pocket — characteristically slanted for the period. There is a buttonhole in the left lapel. The cuffs feature two relatively large buttons. At the back it is straight and has a vent. Internally, the jacket is fully lined and has an inner pocket on the right-hand side.
As for the condition, it is generally good overall, although there are a few imperfections that become apparent upon closer inspection. There is some wear, including damage to one of the cuffs. There is also damage to the cloth near the breast pocket. Additionally, there is some discolouration to the lining. Please study the photographs carefully and form your own impression of the condition.
