DESCRIPTION
This tweed jacket was made in the 1960s and is of Swedish origin, produced by Schlasbergs. Schlasbergs was a major producer in the Swedish market, especially during the 1960s, but also somewhat earlier and later. It is made from British fabric by West Of England – a medium-weight, brown herringbone tweed with a windowpane pattern in burgundy and orange. The jacket is single-breasted, buttoned with three buttons. It features horizontal front pockets with flaps and a breast pocket. There is a buttonhole on the left lapel. The back is vented with a single vent. It is fully lined and has three inner pockets: a large one on each side, plus a smaller pocket high on the left side.
The condition is very good, with no visible wear in the fabric. The lining is also in good condition. The only thing worth noting is that the size has been handwritten on the lining, in the neck area. Please take a look at the photos and form your own opinion on the condition.
SIZE
In size, it corresponds to a modern EU 52 (US/UK42), just as it is marked. Please scroll down for the exact measurements.
