DESCRIPTION
This suit was produced in England by Crown, imported to Sweden, and sold in the Jiges store in Ånge, central Sweden, sometime during the second half of the 1960s. It is made from a light brown fabric with a small checkered pattern. The jacket is double-breasted and fastens with three rows of buttons. It features covered buttons, horizontal front pockets, and a breast pocket. The sleeve buttons are also covered. The back of the jacket is straight and has a single vent. Inside, the jacket is fully lined and has three inner pockets: one large pocket on each side and a smaller one on the left side.
The trousers have horizontal front pockets and a zipper fly. There is a small pocket on the left back side. The trousers have cuffs.
The condition is overall good, with no major damage. The only sign of use is slight discoloration in the lining, but this does not affect the overall appearance when the suit is worn. Please study the pictures and form your own opinion about the condition.
SIZE
In terms of size, the jacket falls between a modern EU 48 (US/UK 38) and EU 50 (US/UK 40). The trousers are slightly smaller when it comes to the waist. However, there is plenty of fabric to let them out, so adjusting the waist to match the jacket size is not an issue. Additionally, there is enough material to lengthen the trousers if needed. Please scroll down for the exact measurements and seam allowances.
