DESCRIPTION
This suit is of Swedish origin, produced sometime during the 1960s by Essge and sold at a store called Holmers in Nässjö, southern Sweden. It is made from a solid grey wool fabric. The jacket is single-breasted and fastens with three buttons. It features horizontal front pockets with flaps and a breast pocket. The left lapel has a buttonhole. The back is straight and has double vents. Inside, the jacket is fully lined and has four inner pockets: one large pocket on each side and two smaller pockets on the left side.
The trousers have a pleat and slanted front pockets. They feature belt loops and a zipper fly. There is one pocket on each back side, the right one fastening with a button.
The condition is overall very good, with the only sign of wear being a slight discoloration in the trouser lining. Please refer to the pictures and form your own opinion about the condition.
SIZE
In terms of size, the suit corresponds to a modern EU 48 (US/UK 38). The trousers are slightly smaller when it comes to the waist, around EU 46 (US/UK 36). However, there is plenty of fabric to let the waist out to match the size of the rest of the suit. The trouser legs differ slightly in length, with the right leg being about 0.5 cm shorter than the left leg. Please scroll down for the exact measurements and seam allowances.
