FINNISH 1950S MEDIUM BLUE TROUSERS BY TIKLAS OK. SIZE CA EU 52

DESCRIPTION

These trousers are of Finnish origin, produced sometime during the 1950s by Tiklas OY, a well-known Finnish clothing manufacturer throughout much of the 20th century. They are made from a relatively lightweight medium blue fabric with a twill structure. The trousers feature double pleats, belt loops, and buttons for braces on the inside of the waistband. They have a button fly and slightly slanted front pockets. They also have a smaller coin pocket on the left side. The trousers have turn-ups at the ankle. At the back, there are two back pockets, both with button closures.

The condition of the trousers is generally good. The only issue to note is some discolouration in the lining. However, this is not visible when the trousers are worn, and the lining can be replaced if desired. Please study the photos and form your own opinion of the condition.

The trousers correspond to a modern EU 52 (US/UK 42). There is plenty of material to let out in the waist if desired, and it would also be possible to lengthen the trouser legs slightly. Please scroll down for the exact measurements and seam allowances.
