DESCRIPTION
This suit most likely dates back to the 1950s. The maker remains unknown as there are no labels from the producer. There is a label saying "Fabrication Suisse", but this is most likely the producer of the cloth. The suit itself was most likely produced in Sweden. The jacket has a three row double breasted closure of which two rows are used. It has horizontal front pockets and one breast pocket. It has a plain back with no vent. It is fully lined and has three inner pockets, one large on each side plus a smaller one on the left side. The trousers are single pleated and have diagonal front pockets and belt loops. They have buttons for braces on the inside of the waistband. They have a zipper fly with hook closure in top. They have two back pockets, one large on the the right side with button closure and a smaller one on the left side. The overall condition of the suit is okay, it is perfectly wearable, but it is not perfect. There are quite a lot of discoloration around the armpits and also in the pockets. There is also a small stain close to the zipper. Please have a look at the images and evaluate the condition.
SIZE
The size of the jacket would best be described as a modern EU 46 (US/UK 36). The trousers are smaller, closer to a modern size EU 42 (US/UK 32). There are a lot of material though to let out in both the waist and also in lenght. Please scroll down for exact measurements and seam allowance.
