DESCRIPTION
This suit was commissioned by Lund & Lund in June 1954, a menswear store that still exists in Stockholm. It is made in grey striped fabric. The jacket has a three row double breasted closure of which two are used. It has wide lapels and horizontal front pockets. It has one breast pocket. It is fully lined and has two inner pockets, one on each side. It has a plain back with no vent. The waistcoat has a six button single breasted closure and four front pockets. The trousers are double pleated and has vertical front pockets. They have belt loops and buttons for braces. They have a button fly with hook closure in top. They have one back pocket, on the left side. The overall condition is good considering its age. There are some damages to the lining, but nothing that will be noticed when worn. Please have a look at the images and evaluate the condition of the suit.
SIZE
The size of the jacket would best be described as a modern EU 48 (US/UK 38). The waistcoat is slightly smaller, closer to a EU 46 (US/UK 36). The trousers are between a EU 44 and 46 (US/UK 34-36). There is nothing to let out in the waist, so this suit would fit best on a slim built person. Please scroll down for exact measurements and seam allowance.
