FRENCH 1940S/1950S BEIGE FELT HAT BY UNKNOWN MAKER. SIZE 57

DESCRIPTION 

This hat was produced in France in the 1940s or 1950s, but we cannot tell the exact producer. It was imported to Sweden by A.F. Bodecker, the most prominent hat store in Sweden during the 20th century. It is made in a felt with slightly longer fibers than most hats. It is lined and has a brown leather sweatband. The condition is great, there are no obvious signs of wear. Please have a look at the images and evaluate.

The hat has an inner circumference of 57 cm. It could be stretched half a size on a hat stretcher if needed.
