A. Marchesan spats
An accessory close to our owner’s heart, the spats, have regrettably become very rare. As with several other items in classic men’s fashion, the spats stems from the military forces. At that time it filled a practical need, but over the years, it transformed to civilian life and evolved into more of a fashion statement. The spats could be found for purchase well into the 50s but is mainly associated with the first few decades of the 20th century.
Vi erbjuder några av de finaste damasker som går att få tag på idag. De är i detalj kopior av gamla tiders damasker i allt från spännen till knappar. De sys för hand i Sverige och är tillverkade i bomullscanvas, fodrade med ett tunt bomullstyg. Knapparna är i äkta Corozo. Vi erbjuder dessa i tre olika färger - vit, grå och brun.
The spats are attached around the shoe with a strap just in front of the heel. They should cover the lacing completely and go down slightly on the shoes vamp. The backside of the spats should cover a little more than half of the heel cap. Please note that our spats are made for wearing with slender shoes, if the shoes are too clumsy the straps may not reach around the shoes.
